Everybody Needs a Kevin

Kevin Smith spent his career as one of the automotive industry’s most beloved PR voices — repping Saab, Lotus, Cadillac, and Genesis, and earning friends everywhere he went. In 2018, Kevin was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s. Drive Toward a Cure connected him with Emory University’s Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence, and our community rallied around him through the “Everyone Needs a Kevin” campaign and our Special Assistance Fund.

Kevin passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025. This drive keeps his memory — and his love of cars — on the road, while raising funds for others facing the same fight.

The Events

Friday, November 13 — Reception & Toast to Kevin

• Time: 4:30–6:30 PM
• Location: Ferrari of Atlanta (official Ferrari dealer)
• Cost: $50 donation

Special guests and exceptional vehicle displays. Introducing Legends of Motorsports: Champions of and for Parkinson’s.

Saturday, November 14 — Take a Drive with Kevin

• Time: 8 AM–2 PM
• Location: Wolf Mountain Winery
• Cost: $350 per driver + car

A guided drive through the Wolf Mountain area, with private winery, automobile and guitar collection tours. Registration is limited.

Saturday Drive Itinerary

• Check-in – 8 AM: Cars and coffee at The Ride Lounge Midtown
• Group drive – 9:15 AM: Guided route to Wolf Mountain Winery
• Wolf Mountain – 11 AM–2 PM: Collection/tour, tasting + pizza at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Bar + Guitar Hall of Fame

Proceeds Benefit Those Living with Parkinson’s Disease

Proceeds support Emory University’s Jean and Paul Amos Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program and the Drive Toward a Cure Special Assistance Fund.
