Registration is open and closes at noon on Friday March 13, 2026. Please register early to guarantee your spot for what is expected to be a very popular tour.
Spring into the Tour season with a day of driving some of the best roads in the North Georgia mountains (Dahlonega to Blairsville via Morganton and Nottely Lake) with experienced group leads/sweeps, followed by lunch in Blairsville GA.
Arrive by 8:30am at Publix Supermarket Dahlonega Village with a full tank/charge and an empty bladder and complete the sign-in/waivers process by 9am. There are many coffee shops, breakfast spots and gas stations within a couple minutes of the start. After a lead/sweep radio check and an all participant safety meeting, we will depart in groups in 5 minute intervals beginning at 9:30 for our first leg to the Wolf Pen Gap Country Store where we will have a quick regroup/pit stop before continuing toward Morganton on the way to our second rest stop/regroup location at a Valero outside Blairsville. The tour finishes with a scenic loop around Nottely Lake and then back into Blairsville to Nani’s Restaurant, featuring excellent Cuban food and where attendees will pay on their own for lunch. The groups should plan to arrive for lunch beginning at noon.
Cost is $20 per vehicle and you will pay the restaurant directly for your lunch.
Approximately one week before the tour, you will receive an email with important info - schedule reminder, any last minute notices, and with the detailed tour route. PCA Peachstate uses the Ride With GPS app for our tours providing visual and voice navigation. PDFs of the route providing turn-by-turn directions will also be provided.
During the registration process, please indicate the total number of attendees for the drive (including yourself), and also indicate how many in your party will be dining with the group at Nani’s. Upon reaching the maximum number of persons that can be seated at Nani’s during registration, we can still accept entries for the tour but will provide you with other recommendations for lunch. For example, El Manzanillo (Mexican) is in the same parking lot as Nani’s and Hole In The Wall and Vincent’s Coppertop are other excellent nearby choices should we exceed our maximum at Nani’s.
Detailed Schedule:
After you have enjoyed the morning drive and lunch with your new and old PCA friends, a fun “return route” (Ride with GPS and Turn by Turn) will take you on more scenic roads headed back to our start location, and from there you can find your way home!
