We have created the perfect way for those who are not signed up for Rennfest, but who would like to start the Labor Day Weekend early by taking off on Friday to do a fantastic round-trip drive to Hiawassee. You will join the Rennfest participants who are driving up and staying at the Brasstown Valley Resort for the full weekend. If you are signed up for Rennfest do not register for this tour on clubregistration.net – you are already eligible via Rennfest registration.

The tour will go through the North Georgia mountains using Highway 60 through Suches, GA. This road is more fun than Tail of the Dragon with less traffic. The route is both scenic and exhilarating. We will see farms, mountains, rivers, valleys and streams. Lunch is at Wildcats BBQ in Suches on Hwy 60. This drive is designed for two groups. People attending Rennfest will arrive at 3:00 pm in time for room check-in. For those not attending Rennfest you will have a chance to see the Rennfest event location, use the restroom, and look around. We are not staying for the social events. We will complete the drive back to Atlanta via Hwy 75 passing through Cleveland. More twisties and beautiful roads.

We will start at Stables Car Condos 5735 Stables Way, Alpharetta, GA, taking a 4-hour scenic drive to Brasstown Valley resort. We will stop at Walmart in Dahlonega for a break.

• 12:00 pm Rest stop at Walmart Dahlonega
• 1:00 pm Lunch - Wildcat BBQ Suches, GA
• 3:00 pm Arrive at Brasstown Valley resort
• 3:30 pm Depart for Atlanta (2 hour drive back to Old Milton on 400)

Come with a full tank of gas and bring a GMRS/FRS radio if you have one.
