We really did have a "top-down" kind of day for the Spring Rally. Sunday April 11 was wonderfully sunny and warm.

Thank you so much to the 10 Rally cars that came out to participate in this event. Also, a big thanks, to the Rally workers, Cathy Saxton, David Ulfink and Chris Gellner at CP#1 & 4, Greg & Maggie Retzutek, Bob Kuchenbecker and Barbara Gellner at CP#2 & #3. Cathy Saxton & Barbara Gellner handled registration, Bob Kuchenbecker & Danny Saxton teched the Rally cars and Dick Kjellsen handed out the Rally instructions. Sidell Tilghman took many photos and documented the start, checkpoints, scenic open road driving and the after Rally party. Special thanks, to Dick & Carole Kjellsen for hosting the End-of-Rally Party and BBQ feast. All seemed to enjoy the Rally and the Party.

The scores were very good with the highest a modest 587 and the lowest an eye-popping 55. Congratulations to all of the contestants. Owens & Doi ran their first ever Peachstate Rally in SOP. Mattern & Burton won the Rally School Rally and also this one. The Pivars and the Levys ran their first ever Rally.

This was really a near perfect Rally day and many did so with their top down, enjoying the sun.

We are asking for comments and suggestions on how to increase the turnout for Peachstate Rallies. The amount of work required to put on a Rally and to work the checkpoints and handle the other tasks, is the same for the 10 that did participate and the 25 we would like to have had. So please, what can we do to increase the turnout?
