A big thank you, to the 21 Rally cars that came out to participate in this event. We had 17 TOUR and 4 SOP cars. What has happened to our SOP Rallyists?

What a grand day we had for our Fall Rally, the weather was wonderfully sunny and warm with just a slight fall breeze. We could not have scripted a better weather day. Fall colors were not yet at peak, but still visible in small quantities and a joy to see and experience. The Big Canoe Lodge is lakeside and a great location for Rally end and an indoor/outdoor party. The majority of the 70 plus attendees ate their brats, potato & cucumber salad outside, while enjoying the grand view.

Please thank the many Rally workers that make an event like this possible. CP#1: Leonard & BJ Turner, Jeff & Nancy Frye and Rick Daniels. CP#3: Sue Pollard, Bert Chapman, Jon & Adrienne Jentz and Lewis Broyles. We had two DIYC (Do-It-Yourself-Control) where the participants timed themselves into the checkpoints. Kathy Baker and Barbara Gellner handled registration, Lewis Broyles & Danny Saxton gave the Rally cars a safety check and Barbara & Chris Gellner handed out the Rally instructions. Scoring at the end was handled by Jack & Kathy Baker, Chris Gellner & James Lyle. Special thanks to the following Peachstate members: To our Big Canoe host and organizer for the Lodge, Lauren Grant. The food purchase, preparation and set up was handled by Paul & Janice Phillips, Lauren Grant & Becca Weck. Dessert was brought by a number of Peachstate ladies.

All of the participants & workers, seemed to enjoy the Rally and Party. A great time was had by all.

Jack & Kathy Baker, who managed 45 points to place 1^st in SOP

James Lyle & Amy Kremer, placed 2^nd in SOP with 94 points.

Krissy Fitts & Lauren Grant placed 3^rd in SOP with 243 points.

Carole Coffman & Hannah Howell placed 1^st in Tour with 103 points.

Mike & Jamie Cole placed 2^nd in Tour with 122 points,

Daryl & Betty Goetz placed 3^rd in Tour with 294 points.

For many of the TOUR Rally teams, this was the first Rally ever and for a number of them, this was the first Peachstate event. Congratulations, to all of you, for finding the Rally End and the Party. Welcome to Peachstate PCA and come join us and participate in the many wonderful events that Peachstate has to offer, we promise to keep you busy.
