Spring Rally 2011 - Results

A nicer day than Sunday, May 15 would be hard to find.  A dozen brave teams showed up at the West Cobb Government Center to start the rally which wound through parts of Cobb and Paulding counties.  For the first time delay slips were available due to the railroad track crossing on the route.  Navigator Matt Hinds was disappointed that his team was not held up by a train.  He was ready with his train catalog to identify the engines just in case.  Everybody made it to the BBQ party at our home for the end to a near perfect day.  Thanks to our competitors and thanks also to the excellent checkpoint crew at the end of legs one and three:  Jeff and Nancy Frye, Bob Kuchenbecker, Cathy Saxton, Tom and Brian Roy.  Thanks also to Paul and Janice Phillips for the route check.
