Despite the threat of showers, fifteen teams showed up to run our first points rally of the year on May 1^st. Sprinkle it did before and after, but not during our event. Past Peachstate rally masters Bob and Suzanne Minarcine even came up from Macon, GA to run on some fine rally roads in Bartow County. A more delightful start point than the Tellus Science Museum parking lot or a better ending place than the Phoenix Air special missions hangar at the Cartersville Airport can hardly be imagined.

Thanks to our fantastic workers: Kuchenbeckers, Fryes and John, Molly and Miles Harris at checkpoint two and Tom Albee, Mike Yee and Jay Clark at checkpoint four. Thanks also to the crew at Phoenix Air for making the facility available to us. While everyone made it to the party with smiles, the best score of the day was posted in the Tour class by Phil and Jeannette Valdez with a total of 56 seconds on a two hour rally. First in S.O.P. was won by Dale and Abbi Rabeneck despite a backward entry into the last checkpoint. Congratulations to all our teams. Good work!
