Saturday afternoon of Rennfest weekend was time to rally! Mother Nature was kind and treated us to the perfect day for enjoying the beautiful and twisty roads of the north Georgia mountains.

We had a total of 51 cars for the afternoon festivities, with 24 teams in Tour class and 27 in Seat of the Pants (SOP). The competition was fierce and very close, especially in the Tour class. Brynleigh Larson of Heart O' Dixie region proved that you can rally at any age, as she is quite a navigator at only 4 years of age. Very well done Brynleigh!

After two and a half hours of rallying, Lou and Sallie Topfl edged Dale and Abbie Rabeneck by a single second to take the win in Tour class. In SOP class, Rick Berry and Vic Rola took top honors with a fantastic performance.

Then of course we can't forget Smelvis! Jerry and Nancy Thompson of Tennessee region took DALBF and were awarded the honor(?) of signing the famous pink pig.

The Rennfest 2014 rally was a great event and most had a great time!
