The Sunday morning sprinkles did not dampen our enthusiastic ten teams who showed up for this year's Rally School at the Hardage Farm clubhouse in Marietta, GA. By school start time the sun was out and the weather remained delightful for the rest of the day. After class a short two leg practice route was run. Nobody fell for the only trap which would have brought a team into the checkpoint backwards, but a few teams missed a sign that caused them to be later than wished. The second leg was longer by a bit but the times were mostly improved with Mike and Jamie Cole zeroing the leg. The main lesson from looking at the scores is that almost everybody except the Coles needs to hold a bit faster speed.

Thanks to Paul and Janice Phillips for reserving their clubhouse for the school and for hosting a fine party at their home afterward! Thanks also to Chris Gellner for helping with the instruction and working the remote checkpoint. Others at the checkpoint were James Lyle (who had previously checked the route), Amy Kremer, Danny Saxton and our President, Bob Kuchenbecker. Congratulations to the overall winners: Dale and Abbi Rabeneck with a total score of only 87 seconds. At the debriefing, great questions were asked by the attendees. We hope they will all become successful rally participants!
