On a perfect day for a drive in the country 12 intrepid rally teams gathered at The Avenue Forsyth with the goal
of finding their way to Big Canoe with a perfect rally score, an appetite for brats, and a chance to win a set of
Bridgestone tires.

While there were no perfect rally scores some came close, and almost everyone made it to Big Canoe for the party.
Patti Kuchenbecker was the happy winner of the tires.

Lauren Grant and Karen Lowe had arranged for and set up the Big Canoe Clubhouse as the site of our brats feast,
Paul & Janice Phillips handled the food procurement and cooking chores (Paul at the grill, Janice with the potato salad) and several folks brought desserts; thanks to all for your assistance, and thanks as well to the checkpoint workers: CP 1, Jack & Kathy Baker assisted by Maureen Ringler, David Ulfik, and Bob Kuchenbecker, CP 3 Chris & Barbara Gellner assisted by Ray Morgan and Sue Pollard; Gellners and Bakers also assisted with tabulating the scores, and a special thank you to David Wilhide for coming up with the set of tires as well as some other goodies for class winners.
