45 teams started the 2010 Rennfest Rally on as perfect an afternoon as could be imagined. The course took us all the way around the highest mountain in GA - Brasstown Bald - and included passing such colorful sounding places as Hoot Owl Hollow and Booger Hollow. Despite the excellent Rally School taught by Chris Gellner, many rally teams failed to make the named road following turn to stay on Hwy 17. A DIYC (do it yourself checkpoint) and rest break came at the Booger Hollow Store where Calvin and his crew welcomed our group warmly. Several opportunities were available to turn onto a road with "Trackrock" in the name. Sometimes our teams knew it and sometimes not.

The stalwart team of Greg Hnat and Steve Blalock "won" the DALBF Pink Pig award. Our president and his lovely bride reversed their previous standing to take 1st Place in Tour Class. Danny and Cathy Saxton ran in Car 42 and won SOP Class with a score of 42 which included the amazing leg times of 0, 18, 8 and 16. Great going Danny and Cathy !
