Join us as the Peachstate club kicks off the 2018 Concours season with our annual Concours School. The school will be held at VMR (Vintage Motorcar Restorations) located in Jasper, Ga. Jasper is on the southern edge of the north Georgia mountains. The drive from the Alpharetta/Milton area is about 35 miles and provides excellent roads for "exercising" your Porsche driving skills, as well as wonderful scenic views. We plan to set up a "tour" type route and assembly area for those interested in driving together in a group to Jasper. Start time will be 8:30 (location TBD), to enable a leisurely drive and arrival in time for coffee/snacks before starting the school. Lunch will be provided.

So block out March 17th from 10:00-12:30 and plan to attend this year's Concours school. Our topics will be targeted to both NEW and Experienced participants. Show and Tell coupled with Hands-on demonstrations will enable all attendees to learn how to prepare and present their car for either the "STREET" or the "TOURING" class. Judging and awards will be discussed including the "Rookie" group for 1^st time entrants. Even if you have attended in the past you will want to come and hear about the changes in class structure/composition and judging criteria. Peachstate Concours judging aligns with PCA national's PCRs (PARADE competition rules) so we plan to cover all the changes to ensure entrants know how to prepare their car for a Concours event.

After lunch we will move into the Judges training (1:00 - 3:00). The class will be aimed at increasing the number of judges available for judging our events. Training will include the "in's and out's of judging a Peachstate Concours, Consistency, Scoring, Documenting, and Feedback to the entrant. Members who have competed in previous Concours are encouraged to consider becoming a judge and attending. Mentoring and partnering with current judges will be available.
